Ahmed Al Maghribi

Kafeel Ahmed left Mumbai for the UAE and opened one perfume shop with a home-based factory in the year 2000. Moreover, he named the brand after his father, Ahmed Gudekar. Twenty-five years later, Ahmed Al Maghribi operates 180 stores across the GCC, employs over 1,000 people, and exports to 160 countries. Furthermore, Kafeel Ahmed still creates fragrances himself. He is the founder and the perfumer. That matters. The brand manufactures everything in its own plant in Ajman. Consequently, there is no middleman between creation and bottle. However, the core customer base is Emirati and Arab. The 55,000 UAE buyers who walk into those 180 stores are experienced oud users with sharp noses. As a result, European buyers discovering Ahmed Al Maghribi through ZAOUD are accessing compositions that already survived the toughest audience in perfumery.
