KHAMRAH COLLECTION Set

Lattafa Khamrah Collection 4 x 25ml: What Is Inside the Box

The Lattafa Khamrah Collection holds four 25ml eau de parfum bottles: Khamrah, Khamrah Qahwa, Khamrah Dukhan and Khamrah Waha. Three of them are warm, sweet and spicy. The fourth is a cool aquatic, which surprises almost everyone who opens the box.

Four bottles of 25ml comes to 100ml in total, the same volume as one full-size bottle. That is the honest way to judge whether this set makes sense for you.

The short version

  • What you get: Four 25ml eau de parfum sprays in a gift box, 100ml of perfume in total.
  • The four: Khamrah, Khamrah Qahwa, Khamrah Dukhan, Khamrah Waha.
  • The first three: Warm spiced dates, then coffee, then smoke and tobacco.
  • The outlier: Waha is cool and aquatic, with cucumber and sea salt. It does not smell like the others.
  • Buy the set if: You do not know which Khamrah suits you, or you want to give the whole line as a present.

What is in the Lattafa Khamrah Collection

The Lattafa Khamrah Collection holds four bottles, released in the order below, each 25ml. Lattafa sells all four as unisex.

Khamrah — the original

Cinnamon and nutmeg over bergamot open it, dates and praline fill the middle, and vanilla, tonka bean, myrrh and benzoin carry a warm resinous finish. It smells like spiced dried fruit and sweet pastry with an incense edge underneath.

This is the one that made the line famous, and it is still the most balanced of the four.

Khamrah Qahwa — the coffee one

Cinnamon, cardamom and ginger open it, praline and candied fruit sit in the middle, and coffee arrives in the base alongside vanilla, tonka bean and benzoin.

Qahwa means coffee, and the coffee here is sweet and milky rather than bitter espresso. It is the sweetest of the four and the easiest to wear if you like dessert fragrances.

Khamrah Dukhan — the smoky one

Mandarin and allspice open over smoked spices, incense and orange blossom sit in the heart with patchouli, and tobacco, amber, tonka bean and praline close it.

Dukhan means smoke. This is the darkest and most serious of the four, and the one that leans most masculine. The praline keeps it from turning harsh, but it is the least sweet of the set.

Khamrah Waha — the cool one

Bergamot, juniper, yuzu and ginger open it, and then it goes somewhere no other Khamrah goes: iris, cucumber, sage and a salty marine note in the heart. Tonka, vanilla and musk warm the base, with dry woods underneath.

Waha means oasis, which explains the thinking. It is fresh, mineral and slightly green, and it is the only one in the box you could wear in real heat.

The one thing to know before you buy the Lattafa Khamrah Collection

Waha does not smell like the rest of the Lattafa Khamrah Collection, and that catches people out. Three bottles in the box are warm, sweet and spiced. The fourth is cool, salty and fresh.

This is not a fault in the set. It is a deliberate choice by Lattafa, and Waha is a good fragrance on its own terms. The problem is only one of expectation: if you buy a box with Khamrah on the lid, you reasonably expect four versions of the same warm idea, and you do not get that.

Treat Waha as a separate fragrance that happens to share a name. Judged that way most people like it. Judged as a Khamrah flanker it tends to disappoint, which is exactly why so many people describe it as the odd one out.

What the four actually share

Tonka bean is in all four bottles of the Lattafa Khamrah Collection, and that is the thread holding the family together. It is a sweet, soft, almond-like note with a hay-like dryness, and it sits in the base of every bottle in the box.

Benzoin appears in three of them, adding a warm balsamic sweetness, and praline turns up in three as well. That shared sweet base is why Khamrah, Qahwa and Dukhan smell related despite going in different directions on top.

Waha keeps the tonka and the vanilla and throws away everything else. Knowing that makes the odd bottle easier to understand: it is built on the same foundation with a completely different house on top.

Is the Lattafa Khamrah Collection worth buying?

It depends on whether you already know which one you want. Four 25ml bottles is 100ml of perfume, the same as a single full-size bottle, so you are not getting less product by buying the set.

If you have never worn any of them, the Lattafa Khamrah Collection is the sensible purchase. You get a usable amount of all four rather than guessing at a full bottle and being stuck with 100ml of something you do not reach for.

If you already know you love the original and nothing else, buy the full bottle instead. Paying set prices to own three fragrances you will not wear is poor value however good the box looks.

As a gift the Lattafa Khamrah Collection is the strongest option in the line, because it removes the guesswork entirely and 25ml is a real bottle rather than a sample vial.

Who should buy the Lattafa Khamrah Collection, and who should not

Buy the Lattafa Khamrah Collection if you are new to the line, if you are buying a present for someone who likes warm sweet fragrances, or if you travel and want 25ml bottles that fit hand luggage rules.

It also suits anyone who likes having options by season. You get a warm one for winter, a sweet one for evenings, a smoky one for cold nights and a fresh one for summer, which covers the year from a single box.

Do not buy it if you dislike sweet fragrances. Three of the four are built on praline, vanilla and tonka, and no amount of spice or smoke changes that.

Skip it too if you only want one of them. Buying four to get one is never good value, and the full-size bottle exists for that reason.

Domande frequenti

Tutto quello che c'è da sapere sulla spedizione, l'autenticità e la cura delle tue fragranze.

01 What is in the Lattafa Khamrah Collection?
Four 25ml sprays in a gift box: Khamrah, Khamrah Qahwa, Khamrah Dukhan and Khamrah Waha. That comes to 100ml of perfume in total.
02 Which Khamrah is the sweetest?
Qahwa. Its coffee note is milky and sugared rather than bitter, and candied fruit and praline sit above it.
03 Which Khamrah is best for men?
Dukhan leans most masculine, with tobacco, incense and smoked spices. All four are sold as unisex, so this is about style rather than a rule.
04 Why does Khamrah Waha smell so different?
Because it is built as an oasis rather than a spice market. Cucumber, sea salt and yuzu make it cool and fresh, and it only shares the tonka and vanilla base with the others.
05 Is 25ml enough to be useful?
Yes. A 25ml bottle holds roughly 250 sprays, so each one lasts months at normal use, and the size is within hand luggage limits.
