Ajwad Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir: Why the Chocolate Note Is Not Chocolate
Lattafa Ajwad Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir is a 60 ml eau de parfum released in 2026. Frozen raspberry, pear and blackcurrant open it, white chocolate sits alone in the heart, and vanilla bean, musk and amberwood close it.
Seven notes, with a single note in the middle. That one note decides the whole fragrance, and it is not the chocolate most people picture.
Lattafa AJWAD PINK TO PINK CREAMY ELIXIR Fragrance Notes:
- Top Notes: Raspberry, Blackcurrant, Pear.
- Middle Notes: White Chocolate.
- Base Notes: Vanilla Bean, Musk, Amberwood.
A single heart note is unusual for a pyramid this size. Most put three or four there, and building the middle of Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir on one material means everything rests on which material it is.
Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir: the short version
- Profile: Tart red fruit turning creamy, then vanilla and soft woods underneath.
- Sweetness: 8 out of 10. Sugar is the point of this one, and only the tart opening argues with it.
- Format: 60 ml eau de parfum, smaller than Lattafa's usual bottle. Check the price per millilitre.
- Best for: Cooler months, daytime, anyone who wants a dessert fragrance with fruit in it.
- Skip if: You are buying Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir expecting the original. It is a different fragrance.
What does Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir smell like?
The opening is tart rather than juicy. Raspberry leads with a cold, slightly green sharpness, pear softens it, and blackcurrant adds a sour thread underneath.
Frozen is doing real work in that description. The raspberry is pitched green and unripe rather than jammy, which is what stops the sweetness arriving all at once.
Then the middle turns everything creamy. The fruit does not disappear so much as get folded into milk, and that shift is the reason Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir earns its name.
Vanilla bean and amberwood carry the rest. Musk smooths the join, and the fragrance settles into something soft, sweet and close to the skin.
Why white chocolate smells creamy and not chocolatey
White chocolate contains no chocolate. It is made from cocoa butter, the fat pressed out of the bean, with milk solids and sugar added to it.
The American standard of identity sets the proportions. At least twenty percent cocoa butter, at least fourteen percent total milk solids, at least three and a half percent milkfat, and no more than fifty-five percent sugar.
Nothing in that list is cocoa solids. The brown part of the bean carries the bitterness and the flavour everyone recognises as chocolate, and it is absent entirely from the material behind Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir. That absence is why white chocolate is white.
Take away the solids and you are left with fat, milk and sugar. That combination tastes of cream and vanilla, not of cocoa. It is also what the heart of Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir is reproducing.
A white chocolate note follows the same logic. It is a milky, lactonic accord closer to condensed milk than to a chocolate bar, which is why Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir reads rich and creamy even though chocolate appears in its accord list.
How long does Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir last?
Vanilla bean, musk and amberwood are all slow materials and they make up the whole base. The fruit moves fastest, which is why the creaminess arrives within minutes.
Cooler weather suits Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir. Milky and vanillic accords gain weight in heat, and a warm day can push it from creamy into heavy.
Two sprays is enough. The bottle is 60 ml rather than the usual 100, so a heavy hand costs more here than it does elsewhere in the range.
How it compares with the original Ajwad Pink to Pink
The 2024 original is a different fragrance in almost every respect. It opens on guava, pink grapefruit and litchi, moves through rose, peony and magnolia, and finishes on leather, ambergris and moss.
Wearers rank the original as fruity, tropical and leathery, with an animalic edge underneath. Not one of those words describes Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir.
The two share musk and vanilla. That is the entire overlap, out of seven notes here and twelve there.
An elixir normally means a deeper version of the same scent. Pink to Pink Creamy Elixir is a new composition wearing the family name, so nobody should order it expecting a richer Ajwad Pink to Pink. If a customer liked the leather and moss of the original, this will not replace it.
