ELIXIR DE BRONZE Twilight Secret Set
IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze Twilight Secrets Set: What Is Actually in the Box, and Why
IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze is a unisex eau de parfum from the Saudi house Ibrahim Al Qurashi, composed by the perfumer Quentin Bisch. Orange blossom, rum and jasmine open it. Tobacco, coconut and violet leaves fill the middle. Tonka bean, vanilla and labdanum close it.
The three-piece set is more interesting than it looks. Two of the bottles hold IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze. The third holds something else entirely, composed by a second perfumer. That third bottle is the whole design, and nobody selling the set explains it.
IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze: the short version
- What it is: Unisex eau de parfum, composed by Quentin Bisch.
- Smells like: Boozy and warm. Rum and orange blossom over tobacco, coconut and vanilla.
- The set holds: A full flacon, a travel refill of it, and a small bottle of its partner scent.
- Best for: Evenings, cool weather, and anyone who likes sweet tobacco.
- The brand: A contemporary Saudi house whose legacy starts in Makkah in 1929.
What is in the 3-piece set
- Full bottle: IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze eau de parfum, 150 ml.
- Travel size: The same scent again, 20 ml.
- Third piece: D’Or Trésor, 20 ml. A separate release by a separate perfumer.
Note the 150 ml. IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze does not use the 100 ml that most Gulf releases do, so a price comparison against a 100 ml bottle is not like for like. Check the millilitres before judging value.
ELIXIR DE BRONZE Fragrance Notes:
- Top Notes: Rum, Orange Blossom, Jasmine.
- Middle Notes: Tobacco, Coconut, Violet Leaves, Cashmeran.
- Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Labdanum.
One correction worth making, because retailers repeat the error. Some listings give the heart note of IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze as cashmere. The material is cashmeran, a synthetic woody musk that borrowed the fabric’s name and shares nothing else with it. No fragrance contains cashmere.
What does IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze smell like?
IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze opens boozy and floral at once. Rum reads warm and slightly syrupy, orange blossom gives it a clean white-floral lift, and jasmine deepens that without turning heavy.
The middle is where the character sits. Tobacco brings dry sweetness, coconut adds a creamy edge rather than a beachy one, violet leaves cut through with something green and faintly metallic, and cashmeran hums underneath as a clean woody musk.
The base of IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze is straightforwardly comforting. Tonka bean and vanilla deliver the sweetness, and labdanum adds a resinous, slightly leathery depth that stops the whole thing turning into dessert.
The published accord ranking leads on sweet, then tobacco and vanilla, with rum close behind. Anyone who finds sweet tobacco fragrances cloying should take that ranking seriously.
The set is a cross-sample, not a bundle
Most three-piece perfume sets give you one scent in three formats: a bottle, a travel spray, and a lotion or a shower gel. IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze does something else.
Two bottles here carry the fragrance you chose. The third carries D’Or Trésor, composed by Jordi Fernández. That piece is not a format at all. It is a second perfume.
The companion product proves the intent. Order the Trésor version and the proportions simply invert, down to a small bottle of IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze sitting in the box. The mirror is exact, so whichever one you pick, the house puts the other in your hands.
Which makes the practical advice clear. Buy the set of whichever fragrance you already know you want, and treat the third bottle as a paid trial of its partner rather than as a bonus.
Twilight Secrets is a pair: dusk and dawn
The collection name describes a time of day, and the two fragrances take one end each. The brand presents IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze as twilight, and D’Or Trésor as the first light of dawn.
The compositions follow that split honestly. IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze is warm, boozy and dark: rum, tobacco, vanilla. D’Or Trésor runs the other way on pear, bergamot and mandarin, with orange blossom, lily of the valley and rose in the heart over sandalwood, amber and musk.
One material links IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze to its partner. Orange blossom sits in the top of Elixir De Bronze and in the heart of D’Or Trésor, which means the same note greets you at different depths depending on which bottle you reach for. That is a deliberate bridge, not a coincidence of sourcing.
Worth knowing about the dawn one: lily of the valley yields no extract at all. Every muguet note in perfumery is reconstructed from other materials, so that part of D’Or Trésor is a perfumer’s interpretation rather than a plant.
Two named perfumers, which is the real signal
Quentin Bisch composed IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze. He is French, born in Strasbourg in 1983, and he reached the industry sideways: refused the standard chemistry route, he took a performing-arts degree, wrote to the major houses, and was taken on as an assistant perfumer at the Robertet laboratory in Grasse before training at Givaudan.
Jordi Fernández composed D’Or Trésor. He is also a Givaudan perfumer, and he turns up on Gulf mass-market releases as well as niche work, which tells you something about how fluid that line has become.
Here is the part that matters about IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze. Gulf houses at this price almost never publish a perfumer credit. Walk through the recent releases and the field is blank: no credited nose, or a credit that traces to one database and nowhere else. IBRAQ puts the perfumer’s name in the product title and in the web address.
That is niche-house behaviour, and it is a commitment. Naming the composer makes a house accountable for the work in a way an anonymous release never is.
Who IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze suits
IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze belongs to evenings and the colder months, on someone who enjoys sweet tobacco and does not want it thinned out. The rum and coconut push it sweeter than most tobacco fragrances, so it is the wrong pick for anyone who wants dry and smoky.
The set suits the curious buyer better than the decided one. If you want IBRAQ Elixir De Bronze and nothing else, the standalone bottle is the cleaner purchase.
