Rayhaan Vantage: The Same Nine Notes as  Decision

Rayhaan Vantage is a 100 ml eau de parfum released by the Emirati house Rayhaan in 2026. Cardamom, bergamot and pink pepper open it, frankincense, myrrh and juniper berries form the heart, and vanilla, cedarwood and patchouli close it.

Those are the nine notes publishes for Decision, arranged in the same three layers. Anyone can check both lists on the two brands' own websites, and the match matters less than it first appears.

What does Rayhaan Vantage smell like?

The opening is spiced rather than sweet. Cardamom leads with a green, almost cooling edge, pink pepper adds a dry fizz, and bergamot keeps the whole thing bright underneath.

Resin takes over quickly. Frankincense and myrrh build a dry smoke through the middle, and juniper cuts across them with a piney sharpness close to gin.

The base is where Rayhaan Vantage relaxes. Cedarwood and patchouli hold the dryness in place, and vanilla softens the edges without turning any of it into a dessert. 

It stays serious throughout. No fruit, no flowers and almost no sweetness until the final stage, which is an unusual shape at this end of the market.

Oman publishes nine notes for Decision. Pink pepper, bergamot and cardamom on top, frankincense, juniper and myrrh in the heart, and patchouli, cedarwood and vanilla in the base.

Rayhaan publishes the same nine, in the same three layers. Both lists sit on the brands' own websites, so this is a minute of checking rather than a rumour passed between forums.

Decision came first, launched in 2025 and composed by Quentin Bisch. Vantage followed in 2026 and names no perfumer at all. Both come in a 100 ml bottle, which makes the comparison tidier than it usually is.

Retailers describe Vantage as inspired by Decision and buyers repeat it. What none of them add is the part that decides how far apart the two actually sit.

Why an identical note list is not an identical fragrance

A published pyramid names materials. It says nothing about proportion, and proportion is most of what a perfumer decides.

Concentration hides there too. oman perfumery states thirty-three percent oil for Decision, which is extrait territory. An eau de parfum conventionally runs well under half of that.

Material grade sits outside the list as well. Frankincense can mean a steam-distilled resin or a far cheaper reconstruction, and a note list spells the two exactly the same way.

Nine notes also never means nine ingredients. Most fragrances hold dozens of materials, and a pyramid names the handful the brand thinks worth advertising.

So the honest position is narrow. Rayhaan Vantage shares a published structure with a much more concentrated fragrance, and whether it delivers that structure is something only your own nose settles.

How long does Rayhaan Vantage last?

The base is built from slow material. Cedarwood, patchouli and vanilla all move slowly, and resins such as frankincense and myrrh are among the slowest things in perfumery.

Cold weather suits it. Resin and dry wood thin out in heat, and the cardamom opening is the only part of Rayhaan Vantage built for warmth.

Concentration is the caveat. This is an eau de parfum built around materials that reward a heavier dose, so spray it properly rather than sparingly.

Who should buy it, and who should skip it?

Buy it if you want a frankincense fragrance that stays dry. Resin, juniper and cedar run the entire wear and the vanilla never takes charge.

Skip it if you already own the fragrance it echoes. A shared list is a reason to be curious rather than a reason to keep both on a shelf.

Skip it too if you want sweetness or fruit. Rayhaan Vantage has neither, and the cardamom and juniper give it a cool medicinal edge that some people dislike immediately.
