Mohamed Iqbal Abdul Sattar founded Khadlaj Perfumes in 1997 in the UAE. Moreover, he brought over 45 years of hands-on perfumery experience to the brand. Every Khadlaj fragrance is conceived, developed, and manufactured in the company’s own ISO-certified factory in Ras Al Khaimah. Furthermore, the brand covers two worlds. Traditional attars, oud oils, ruh gulaab, and bakhoor sit alongside modern EDPs and body mists. Hareem Al Sultan, a concentrated perfume oil, went genuinely viral on TikTok and introduced millions to Arabic perfumery. Consequently, Khadlaj now sells in over 80 countries from 10 showrooms across the UAE and Oman. His son Asif Mohamed Iqbal Katchi runs the business today as Managing Director.
